Mapping
Before we dive deep into the regions of Canada and Alberta, the students of Room 10 brushed up on their mapping skills. These mapping skills are important for understanding the geography of our nation and will transfer onto future years of schooling. We looked at four different aspects of mapping: cardinal and intermediate directions, scales and distances, grid maps, and longitude and latitude.
Below is a mapping summative that students completed to wrap up the unit. Feel free to use it as practice at home!
